The government has increased the petrol price by Rs 1.35 and the high-speed diesel price by Rs 3.85.

According to sources, the federal government has revised the prices and set the new prices for petrol and oil at Rs 248.38 and Rs 255.14, respectively.

Even as Light diesel oil price has reduced to Rs147.51 per liter, kerosene oil price has reduced as well to Rs161.54 per liter.

Moreover, heavy-speed diesel is now retailing up to Rs 5 per liter, while other prices remain unaffected per the legal review released by the Treasury Department on Thursday.
